Yard Sales

A Yard Sale Permit is required for all garage sales, patio sales or other sales similarly conducted in any residential area.  Such sales are restricted to personal property owned, used and maintained by the person or members of their family in connection with the premises.

Only three (3) such sales per family and per location may be conducted in each calendar year.  The sale shall be limited to not more than three (3) consecutive days each.

Yard Sales held for charitable purposes by nonprofit entities (i.e. churches, public schools, fraternal organizations) may be held at the premises of the organization with written permission of the owner.  All other rules must apply.

NOTE: The Coronavirus safety precautions must be followed by all permit holders. Mask signs must be posted along with the permit in a visible area. Please try to limit the number of people at the sale to no more than 10 people. You may ask them to wait in their car or on the sidewalk until there is adequate room to socially distance while they browse.
